Also known as the Oriental Tea Tree or the Fukien Tea Tree, the Carmona bonsai has pretty white flowers in summer and waxy green foliage. Small yellow-red berries sometimes appear in autumn.
- An indoor bonsai that needs a warm, humid environment with bright light, but not direct sunlight.
- Keep moist in the growing season, but don’t let the tree become waterlogged. Water less in winter, allowing the soil to dry out a little before watering. Spray the foliage to keep up humidity levels.
- Feed from March to October. Ideally use a high nitrogen feed between March and June (this will encourage leaf growth), and a low nitrogen/high potassium feed in July-October. If this is not possible, a good indoor plantfood will do.
All of our trees are individually photographed, so the tree you see is the one you will receive.
